This is a character design brief we were to create a character for a brand new game. My character is called Billy Stevens and is part of a covert government task force used to deal with terrorist crimes. Billy’s main skills are his quickness, combat training, stealth and weapon accuracy.

Idea 1:
Idea 1 is a basic army/SWAT combat looking suit, inspired by Punisher: War Zone. The under-suit is a thick Lycra-like material similar to the “skins” sports people wear, these are tight,light garments that help keep in body-heat. On top of this is a front and back bulletproof vest. He also has elbow and knee pads on for extra protection.

Idea 2:
This second suit is a mixture of Metal Gear Solid and Batman’s Dark Knight suits. I like the Kevlar type markers on the key areas of damage,it also adds to the look of muscle and shape. It is a stealth sneak looking suit, slim lightweight looking materials to help the character move easily and quickly.
Idea 3:
This suit is based on the suits worn in the X-Men films. The material will be leather. If this was a suit for use in the real world, I would have the Idea 2 suit under it for protection and this one for the “look”.
Overall I am happy with this design and hope to get round to designing the rest of his team at a later date.
